Though Siranush's husband's ancestors are originally from Dzoragyugh, Siranush fell in love with the quaint village from her first visit in 1992. She was enamored of the lush greenery, picturesque landscapes, and simple manner of life. Since then, Siranush supported the village, the residents and children in countless ways. 

On October 18, 2021, the Preschool in Dzoragyugh Village was re-opened and renamed

The Siranush Harutyunyan Preschool in Dzoragyugh Lori Region to honor Siranush's legacy.
